Paneer Paratha

I personally love Paneer.... When i was little my father used to comment "Se can even eat a piece of a paper in which the word 'Paneer' is written๐Ÿ˜", this is how much i love paneer. So the point of telling you this story was i love putting paneer everywhere and i'm gonna post may paneer recipes so if you also like it you can follow my recipes๐Ÿ™.

Preparation time : 20 minutes

Ingredients needed:
  1. Paneer (100gms)/cottage cheese
  2. Salt
  3. Green chilies
  4. Fresh coriander
  5. Maggi masala
  6. Vegetable oil
  7. Cumin /Jeera
  8. Wheat flour or you can also use multi grain flour.
Lets prepare the outer covering:
  1. Take 250-300 gms of wheat flour into a bowl.
  2. Add salt, and a tablespoon oil into the wheat and mix all the ingredients properly.
  3. Knead the dough soft by adding water as needed.
  4. Keep aside.
Preparing the filling:
  1. Mash paneer into a bowl.
  2. Chop green chilies and fresh coriander and add to the bowl.
  3. Now add cumin /Jeera, Garam Masala , green chilies and salt.
  4. Mix all the ingredients properly.
Preparing the paratha:

  1. Make roundels and shape it into a cup using your hand.
  2. Place 1-2 spoons of your prepared filling in the center of the cup.
  3. Now close the cup and roll it with a rolling pin.

100 gms of paneer made from cow's milk provides 18.3gms of protein, 20.8gms of fat, 2.6gms of minerals, 1.2gms of carbohydrates, 265 kcal of energy, 208 mgs of calcium, 138 mg of phosphorous. ... Paneer is a good source of protein especially for vegetarians who do not get their intake from meat products.
